The cookies and browser storage we use, and why.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some are strictly necessary for a site to function (for example, to keep you logged in), while others are used for analytics or advertising. WOW Longevity uses only strictly necessary cookies — we don't run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The table below lists every cookie or browser-storage item the platform sets. Categories follow the ePrivacy Directive: Essential cookies do not require consent; Analytics and Marketing cookies would, but we currently set none.
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| next-auth.session-token | Essential | Authenticated session token (Auth.js). Required to keep you signed in. | Session / up to 30 days |
| next-auth.csrf-token | Essential | Cross-site request forgery protection for sign-in flows. | Session |
| next-auth.callback-url | Essential | Stores the URL to redirect to after sign-in. | Session |
| mfa-verified | Essential | Signed cookie confirming you have completed multi-factor authentication for this device. | 8 hours |
| wow-cookie-consent | Essential (local storage) | Records your acknowledgement of the cookie banner so we don't show it to you again. Stored in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie. | Until cleared |
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this page and request your consent through the cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
Because we only set strictly necessary cookies, there is nothing to opt out of within the platform. You can still clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings — note that doing so will sign you out and may break parts of the site that depend on session state.
